Paul Baca’s Card Collection

Everyone has a story and you can live right next door to someone and not know what it is. I knew my former Sunnyside neighbor, Paul Baca, was a well known Denver civil rights attorney back in the day, but I didn’t know he had a massive baseball card collection and even owned a baseball card shop in Lakewood in the late 80’s and early 90’s. He is a fountain of information on all things baseball. He knows his way around other sports too. He is a lifelong Denverite, a proud Chicano (what he prefers to be called), a devout Catholic and a prolific card collector and storyteller. And he is the subject of our first Bucket List Community Cafe podcast. Below are photos from his albums and collection so you can follow along with the narrative. Thanks, Paul Baca for sitting down and sharing with us. We build community by telling our stories and we want to hear yours too. If you think you have an interesting Denver story for a podcast contact Bucket List Community Cafe or vicky@teletrendstv.com.
