Our Team

Vicky Collins is the publisher and editor of Bucket List Community Café.  She is a freelance television producer and journalist with NBC News.  Working in both national news and community journalism gives her a unique perspective.  Vicky also has her own production company called Teletrends, which has produced for broadcast, cable, national syndication, Olympics, digital, and non-profits.  She has lived in the Sunnyside and Berkeley neighborhoods for five years.  Vicky grew up in Hawaii, went to the University of Colorado, has two grown sons who both live in North Denver, loves dogs and is an avid photographer and writer.  Contact her at vicky@teletrendstv.com.

Blair Ewalt is a Bucket List Community Café Advisor. He is the Marketing Manager for Fusion Auth. Before that he was a Content Strategist for Neat Loans. Blair is a 2020 graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado where he worked on growth, marketing, social media and web development. He is interested in using his entrepreneurial skills to help create more just and connected communities.  He lives in Sunnyside. You can reach him at blairewalt@gmail.com.

Alex Bushell is a Bucket List Community Cafe advisor. He is an account executive in group sales for the Los Angeles Clippers NBA team. Alex lived in the Denver metro area until moving to L.A. in 2021. Alex is a 2020 graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder College of Media, Communication, and Information. He studied advertising, communications, and business. He’s an avid sports fan and has worked in the sports arena for both the University of Colorado and the Denver Broncos. Marin Fallon is Bucket List Community Cafe’s Engagement Manager. She is a senior in the University of Colorado’s School of Communication, Media and Information. She is a Journalism and Media Studies major with a Business minor. She was born and raised in New Jersey, moving to Colorado for her freshman year of college. In her spare time, she loves exploring her new home state and spending time with friends and family. Helen Driesen is a freelance journalist with Bucket List Community Café. Originally from New York, she received her BA in political science and jazz voice performance from the University of Vermont, and is now pursuing her MA in journalism at CU Boulder. As a singer-songwriter and pianist, Helen particularly enjoys covering all things arts and culture. In her spare time, she can be found performing at open mics, petting dogs, and exploring all of the beauty Colorado has to offer. She can be reached at helendriesen@gmail.com.

Abby Wright, is originally from Texas and is a Junior at the University of Colorado Boulder’s College of Media, Communication, and Information. She is pursuing a degree in communications and a minor in creative writing. You will likely find Abby reading fiction books, writing stories, cooking, painting, or exploring Colorado. Noah Anderson is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a Journalism major with a minor in Business. He loves being outdoors, traveling, and playing golf. Zoe Paulson is a Bucket List Community Cafe intern, and she loves to find vibrant stories within communities. She is going into her last year at CU Boulder, studying Journalism with a triple minor in Sports Media, History, and Creative Tech & Design. Colorado-born and raised, she loves spending time in the mountains and outdoors. Her favorite indoor activities include knitting and playing board games. Her passion for writing and journalism comes from a love for telling stories that might otherwise not be told, and she is hoping to turn that into a career. Cameron Kabot is a junior Journalism major at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Cameron enjoys writing about crime and policing, social justice issues, politics, and investigative journalism.  Cameron’s hobbies include hiking, enjoying good food, and watching his favorite sports teams – the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins, as well as cheering on the Buffs.  Cameron is from Weston, Florida, where he lives with his parents, brother, and two Wheaten Terriers, Charley, and Samantha.  Cameron can be reached at Cameron.kabot@colorado.edu.


Madison Stroud is a graduating senior at CU Boulder with a degree in Journalism and minor in Business. Her main focus is on storytelling through multimedia and has a continued passion for photography. Ca$h is a dog. She was often seen sitting on her front lawn in Berkeley watching her world until the dog catcher clipped her wings. Four-legged neighbors are an important part of our North Denver experience and she is our dog correspondent. Her favorite place to go is Tenn Street Coffee and Books where she gets treats.
