Our Team

Vicky Collins is the publisher and editor of Bucket List Community Cafe. She is a freelance television producer and journalist with NBC Network News. Vicky also has her own production company called Teletrends, which has produced for broadcast, cable, national syndication, Olympics, digital, and non-profits. She has lived in Northwest Denver since 2017. Contact her at vicky@teletrendstv.com.

Blair Ewalt is a Bucket List Community Cafe business advisor. He is the Marketing Manager of Fusion Auth. Before that he was a Content Strategist for Neat Loans. Blair is a 2020 graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado where he worked on growth, marketing, social media and web development. He lives in Chaffee Park. Madison Lauterbach is Bucket List Community Cafe’s editor. She was born in Denver and raised in the surrounding suburbs. She graduated from MSU Denver in December 2019 with a degree in convergent journalism and a minor in political science. Shortly after graduating, she founded Ms. Mayhem. The online Denver-based publication produced community stories from the intersection of race, class, ability, gender and sexuality. Ms. Mayhem halted publication in July 2022 due to a lack of funding. Since then, Madison has mostly worked as a freelancer. When she’s not working, Madison enjoys binging trash TV shows, playing D&D, crafting and fly fishing. You can reach Madison at mlauter@bucketlistcommunitycafe.com.

Noah Anderson is Bucket List Community Cafe’s production manager. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder where he received a diploma in journalism with a minor in business. He loves being outdoors, traveling, and playing golf. Noah has a passion for sports and would like to work as a sports broadcaster in the future. Logan Kurtz is Bucket List Community Cafe’s business development manager. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minor in sports media. He was also the director of the Student Emmy Award winning broadcast CU NewsTeam. Growing up and living on the front range in Colorado, Logan spends all the time he can outdoors skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Zachary Pasquarello is Bucket List Community Cafe’s Analytics Manager. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder. He double majored in journalism and analytics and has a passion for sports. He is originally from Philadelphia but moved to Colorado Springs for middle and high school. In high school he played basketball and was on the track team but throughout his life he also played baseball, football, and lacrosse. He has been lucky enough to travel to 8 countries and is thankful for the cultural learning experiences he was able to experience overseas. London Lyle is Bucket List Community Cafe’s engagement manager and a multimedia journalist. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in sociology. She is passionate about social justice, photography, animal welfare, and local politics. She spent the summer of 2021 living in Washington, D.C. interning for RealClearPolitics, and has previously written for Her Campus Magazine, where she covered current events and politics. Mabel Gonzalez (She/Her) is a multimedia journalist for Bucket List Community Cafe. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in studio arts. Mabel is a Colorado native who grew up in the northern Denver metro area. Victoria Perez (she/her/hers) is a first generation Latina and graduate journalism major with a minor in film from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Victoria strives to tell the stories of all cultures and capture these stories visually using a variety of multimedia. Her passion is in telling the stories of those who are silenced and hopes to provide a platform where these stories can be told whole-heartedly. Jackie Ramirez is a graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in anthropology. Her interests range from education, Latinx topics, and the arts. Jackie is a Colorado native and enjoys painting landscapes inspired by the beautiful scenery in Colorado and her parents’ homes in Mexico City. Jonathan Peter was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and is a senior at CU Boulder. He is majoring in journalism and minoring in economics. As a Denver native, Jonathan is a huge Colorado sports fan with his favorite teams being the Nuggets and the Broncos. Daianee Galindo is a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver where she majored in broadcast journalism with a minor in digital media. Daianee is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. She aspires to help communities by providing a platform to tell their stories. Mimi Herrick is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder studying journalism and political science. She enjoys staying active with her water polo team and CU women’s skate club. Ryland Scholes is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in journalism with a minor in political science. He is a Colorado native who grew up just south of Denver. In his free time, Ryland loves watching baseball and playing retro video games. He aspires to work in sports media in the future, as well as reviewing video games. Maddie Lindsay is a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver where she is majoring in journalism with a minor in english literature. Maddie spent her first two years of undergrad studies at the University of Hartford, where she was also the web editor of the student broadcast STN Channel 2 News. Since transferring to MSU in 2022, Maddie has continued to further her journalistic ambitions and athletic career as a member of the MSU Denver Volleyball team. Gretchen Yenchesky is Bucket List Community Cafe’s Marketing and Engagement Intern. She is a junior at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying marketing and entrepreneurship at the Leeds School of Business. She is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but fell in love with Boulder the moment she toured. In her free time, Gretchen likes to hike, ski, and discover a new favorite coffee shop. Maryjane Glynn is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in journalism and minoring in sociology. She is a multi-media journalist for Bucket List Community Cafe. She is from Glenview, Illinois and is thankful to be studying in Colorado. During her free time, she likes to be immersed in nature and surrounded by dogs. Elizabeth Pond is a junior at CU Boulder studying journalism and creative writing. She grew up all over the place, but has called Colorado Springs home the longest. She enjoys tapping her cat Bonnie’s nose, baking allergen friendly things that sometimes turn out wonky, writing songs and stories, and doing aerial circus arts at Urban Cirque, the performance company she performs with. Summer Aljobory is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. She was born in Iraq and raised across the Middle East. Upon moving to the U.S. at 18, she graduated high school from Vista Peak in Aurora and enrolled at CU Boulder with a major in Journalism and a minor in Creative Technology and Design. Summer seeks untold stories and the human element of every narrative. During her free time, she enjoys painting nature and animals, reading long books, and hosting her radio show at KVCU 1190 AM. Ca$h is a dog. She was often seen sitting in the front yard of her home in Berkeley until animal control clipped her wings. Now she lives in Sunnyside. Dogs are an important part of our North Denver experience and Ca$h loves meeting people at neighborhood events. She is our dog correspondent. Her favorite place to go is Tenn Street Coffee and Books where she gets treats.
