Our Team

Vicky Collins is the publisher and editor of Bucket List Community Café.  She is a freelance television producer and journalist with NBC Network News. Vicky also has her own production company called Teletrends, which has produced for broadcast, cable, national syndication, Olympics, digital, and non-profits.  She has lived in Northwest Denver since 2017.  Contact her at vicky@teletrendstv.com.

Blair Ewalt is a Bucket List Community Café Advisor. He is the Marketing Manager for Fusion Auth. Before that he was a Content Strategist for Neat Loans. Blair is a 2020 graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado where he worked on growth, marketing, social media and web development. He lives in Sunnyside. Marin Fallon is Bucket List Community Cafe Advisor. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s School of Communication, Media and Information. She was born and raised in New Jersey and moved back home after graduating, She now works in marketing for Marriott Hotels in New York City. You can reach Marin at mrf07960@gmail.com.


Helen Driesen is a freelance journalist and editorial manager for Bucket List Community Café. Originally from New York, she received her BA in political science and jazz voice performance from the University of Vermont, and is now pursuing her MA in journalism at CU Boulder. Helen enjoys covering all things arts and culture. In her spare time, she can be found performing stand up comedy at open mics, singing and songwriting, Helen can be reached at helendriesen@gmail.com.

Abby Wright is Bucket List Community Cafe’s engagement manager. She is originally from Texas and is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder’s College of Media, Communication, and Information. Noah Anderson is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a Journalism major with a minor in Business. He loves being outdoors, traveling, and playing golf. Noah has a passion for sports and would like to work as a sports broadcaster in the future. He is a reporter and the assistant producer for Bucket List Community Cafe’s podcasts. Cameron Kabot is a senior Journalism major at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Cameron enjoys writing about crime and policing, social justice issues, politics, and investigative journalism.  Cameron is from Weston, Florida. His hobbies include hiking, enjoying good food, and watching his favorite sports teams – the Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins, as well as cheering on the Buffs.  Cameron can be reached at Cameron.kabot@colorado.edu.

Lilybeth Valles is a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She was born and raised in Colorado and lived in El Paso, Texas for three years. Lilybeth enjoys writing and being active. Her favorite hobby is listening to music and watching documentaries on YouTube. Patrick Stachniak is a Boulder native and currently is a senior in Journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a minor in Media Production. Being from Boulder, he is an avid skier and rock climber. When not in the mountains, Patrick spends his time pursuing other hobbies such as boxing and playing guitar. Mabel Gonzalez is a senior at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is a Journalism major with a minor in studio arts. Mabel is a Colorado native who grew up in the northern Denver metro area. Zachary Pasquarello is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is double majoring in Journalism and Analytics and has a passion for sports. He is originally from Philadelphia but moved to Colorado Springs for middle and high school. In high school he played basketball and was on the track team but throughout his life he also played baseball, football, and lacrosse. Victoria Perez (she/her/hers) is a first generation Latina and senior Journalism major with a minor in Film at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Victoria strives to tell the stories of all cultures and capture these stories visually using a variety of multimedia. Her passion is in telling the stories of those who are silenced and hopes to provide a platform where these stories can be told whole-heartedly. Logan Kurtz is a senior student at the University of Colorado Boulder pursuing his bachelor’s in journalism and minor in sports media. He was the director for the student Emmy-Award winning broadcast, CU NewsTeam, during the 2020/21 school year. He was also a member of the student publication, CU News Corps. Logan has a passion for telling stories in 24 frames per-second and loves using his camera to capture moments in time that should never be forgotten. Growing up on the front range in Arvada, Colorado, Logan spends all the time he can in the wilderness skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. You can reach Logan at logan.kurtz@colorado.edu.

Ca$h is a dog. She was often seen sitting in the front yard of her home in Berkeley until animal control clipped her wings. Dogs are an important part of our North Denver experience and Ca$h loves meeting people at neighborhood events. She is our dog correspondent. Her favorite place to go is Tenn Street Coffee and Books where she gets treats.
